With a planned gross installed capacity of 50 MW, the project covers an area of 1500 Mu and carries a gross investment of RMB 466 million. A total of 16 O&M personnel and 3 auxiliary personnel were allocated on site. The project is a PV plant for desert control, where the PV area is planted with drought-resistant plants such as Lycium Ruthenicum Murr., clover and sacsaoul. The preliminarily estimated number of 25-year average annual equivalent full-load operating hours for the plant is 1380.89, and the annual fed-in electricity is estimated to be approx. 69,947 MWh.

With an installed capacity of 110 MW, the PV plants of the project were constructed principally on saline-alkali land and coastal mudflats, where agricultural production was performed with salt removal measures, improved plants planting, and other means.

With an installed capacity of 80 MW, the agriculture-solar hybrid project in Yuhuan County, Taizhou, Zhejiang Province was connected to the grid at full load on April 13, 2016; the annual power generation was 81.225 million kWh, which met the expectations. The project site is in a poldering area where saline-alkali land predominated; the soil was later improved by planting crops such as Sesbania.
